The all new Kia Rio 5-door is a lower, wider, and longer version of the previous generation. The stylish 5-door hatchback has high standards not traditionally found in a small car. A sporty personality, impressive fuel economy, and high level of safety take priority in this new design.The Rio 5-door is offered in LX, EX, and SX trim levels. Power comes from a new 138-hp 1.6-liter gasoline direct injection (GDI) four-cylinder engine. A new six-speed manual transmission is standard on the LX. A new six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode is standard on the EX and SX trims, and offered on the LX. Available unique features include a push button ignition, power folding exterior mirrors, heated seats, idle stop and go (ISG), rearview camera, UVO audio infotainment system, heated steering wheel, power sunroof, projection headlights, and LED taillights. Standard safety features include six airbags, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control with brake and hill start assist, and traction control.The Kia Rio 5-door is all new for 2012.
